HVAC Technician
Description of Role
Our client is a contracting firm based in Lagos, Nigeria. They are looking to hire an AC technician who will install install refrigerant copper pipes in conduit, air-conditioning unit- high wall split,ceiling concealed and floor standing type of air-conditioners.
Job Description for the HVAC Technician
IInstall, maintain and repair air conditioning systems and equipment.
Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
Clean, adjust and repair systems, and performing warranty services.
Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Provide technical direction and on-the-job training.
Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers’ requirements.
Assist with customers’ queries.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Minimum of 5 years professional experience in air conditioning installation and maintenance
SKILLS REQUIRED
Physically able
Ability to work independent
Hand-eye coordination
Speaks good English
Dedicated to the work
Good communicator
Leadership skills
Meticulous, disciplined, detail-oriented
Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
Strong work ethic and high level of integrity
