BFA Global’s 2022 Report on OPL Academy

BFA Global recently conducted an independent survey of 500 artisans who had undergone training through OPL Academy's Artisan Empowerment Program, to evaluate the impact of OPL’s Artisan Empowerment Program (AEP). The report revealed several key findings, including the following:

  • Over 90 percent of OPL graduates report that they currently work.

  • Salaries of OPL graduates are anywhere from 3 to 5 times higher than before training.

  • OPL graduates remain in the workforce and see a doubling of their salaries within about three years

  • OPL graduates attribute the increase in earnings to their soft skills. Soft skills improve their communications for sales and their ability to take leadership roles as employees.

These findings demonstrate the significant impact of our Artisan Empowerment Program on the lives and livelihoods of our trainees.
